Bellydance (North African/Middle Eastern Dance)

Yallah, let’s dance! Join me, Sherine, on
Tuesdays 8-9pm for weekly open level Bellydance classes. This North African and Middle Eastern dance class focuses on Oriental style or Raqs Sharqi. We will also explore folkloric dances, Beledi style, American Caberet, contemporary fusion and interpretive improvisation as a movement meditation.
Topics explored in 8 week sessions. Dance barefoot or in soft sole dance shoes. Hip scarf recommended. Comfortable fitness/dance clothing. Veils available for purchase and to borrow.
