Dancing has been around for centuries and is enjoyed by people of all ages. There are many reasons why people love dancing, but one of the most common is that it can be a fun and sociable way to express oneself, especially when no one is watching! Many people enjoy dancing because it enables them to forget all of their worries and concerns for a couple of hours and allows them to relax and enjoy themselves. Many people say that dancing makes them happy and gives them the confidence to be themselves in social situations.

Check out this choreography from Paris Cavanagh for example. Notice the synchronicity of the dancers and how they move together with the music. There is something special about dancing together in sync that gives each person a sense of freedom and unity at the same time. There is nothing like moving your body to the beat of your favorite song or to the sounds of your favorite band to release all of your stress and make you feel good about yourself.

There is something special about choreographing a number of movements, practicing them to perfection and then performing the final piece in front of an audience. That is so exhilarating… When you watch the dancers perform you are amazed at how well they control their bodies, and how they communicate with each other and with the audience. I think that’s what makes dance such a unique art form that can be enjoyed by anyone.

There are many reasons why people start dancing. The older people get the more unique these reasons are… Many people begin dancing as a way to improve their physical fitness so that they can live healthier and longer life. Others are looking for ways to relieve stress from their busy lives. But the most fascinating reason I’ve heard is from people who began dancing to escape the streets and the cruel criminal life that is prevalent in some parts of the world today. Dance can be a wonderful form of therapy that can lift the spirits of those who have been down in the dumps for a while and remind them that life can still be beautiful and hopeful even when the odds are stacked against you

For many such people dancing has become a way out from a life of misery and isolation. They meet new friends and learn to express themselves freely without fear of judgment or ridicule. They find new purpose and meaning in their lives and develop a new sense of self-worth and happiness. Some people even use the training they receive to become professional dancers and never get back on the streets again. Others use their newfound skills to make extra money to pay for their food and rent and other living expenses so they can still continue their education and get the kind of job that will help them support themselves and their families in the future. So whether you just started taking dance lessons last week or you have been at it for years, I urge you to stick with it and continue doing what you love most…. Because whatever it is you love to do in life you should keep doing it because it makes you happy!

Some people see dance as a strictly physical art form, but they couldn’t be more wrong. Dancing as I mentioned before is a therapy and a healing ritual in itself, something that can benefit your body and soul and make you feel much better about yourself. And that’s the magic of dance…
