If you’re feeling stressed out, there’s a good chance that dancing might help, though not in the way that you might think. Kizomba for example is a dance style that originated in Angola and has been proven to be effective in reducing stress. It helps not only those dancing it but also those watching the dance. I mean look at this video and notice how hypnotizing all the movements of these women’s bodies are.
It definitely has a very pronounced positive calming effect on your eyes, mind and soul. Don’t you agree? It’s like meditation in motion only better. This short one-minute video posted by Eliza Sala and Iolanda Rangel made me forget about all my problems right away. I bet if you had a really bad day at work or home, after watching some kizomba on youtube you’ll feel great too.

Why would anyone want to focus on problems when you have Kizomba? If you’re feeling down for whatever reason and you want to feel happier, I highly recommend joining a Kizomba class in your local dance studio. Of course, you will need some motivation before making the call and enrolling in such classes, so watching a few videos like the one I shared with you today can help you make your decision easier.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a man or woman, an introvert or an extrovert, anybody can join the Kizomba community and dance if they want to. Or they can just watch others dancing and be hypnotized and soothed by their body movements. Whatever floats your boat! In my case, I felt like joining the party after I watched a similar video many years ago. So I did and never regretted it because it’s the perfect dance for reducing stress and clearing out your mind of negative thoughts and worries. It’s the perfect dance for meeting new like-minded people and building a community of friends. So what are you waiting for?
In conclusion, I would like to say that Kizomba is a very enjoyable dance style and very popular all over the world not just because it makes you feel good but also because it looks good. Of course, I was joking a bit in this article so don’t take it too seriously. I hope I didn’t offend anyone, but the truth is that any dance is a great getaway from harsh reality and especially a great stress reliever if used properly and in the right setting. So get out there and join the fun with some cool people and relax while listening to great music. I guarantee it’ll change your life for the better.
